*********** UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SANTA CRUZ BYLAWS COLLEGE GYMNASTICS CLUB AS OF WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6TH, 2007 *********** ARTICLE IOrder of PrecedenceShould any conflict of policy arise, the rules, regulations and policies of the University of California and the Santa Cruz campus shall supersede the rules, regulations, policies and/or bylaws of any affiliated international, national, regional or local organizations. There will otherwise be a document order of precedence as follows in this order: 1.) The constitution shall always supersede the bylaws and other documents of the organization. 2.) These bylaws shall otherwise govern all aspects of the organization, and all rules, regulation, and policy not explicitly mentioned in the Constitution are reserved for the bylaws. 3.) The minutes and decisions from the meetings of the general membership. 4.) The minuets and decisions from the meetings of the executive committee. 5.) The reports from elected officers or committees. 6.) The policies and regulations of any affiliated organization.
ARTICLE II Officers for the OrganizationThese bylaws shall create and define the following positions of officers. Election to these positions will be as per the Constitution. Webmaster幝统eports to the Communications Officer. Designs and updates the organizations website. Posts information to the website at the direction of its officers. Photographer幝统eports to the Webmaster. Acts as the historian by photo documenting the organizations events. Men幝迷 Technical Advisor幝统eports to the general membership. Is responsible for being familiar and up to date with the rules and technique for men幝迷 competitive gymnastics. Advises in routine construction. Men幝迷 Technical Advisor幝统eports to the general membership. Is responsible for being familiar with the rules and technique for women幝迷 competitive gymnastics. Advises in routine construction. NAIGC Representative幝统eports to the general membership. Updates the organization with the rules and policy of the National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs. Represents the CGC at UCSC organization at the NAIGC meetings. OPERS/SOAR Representative幝统eports to the general membership. Represents the organization to the Office of Physical Education and Recreational Sports, and the Student Organizations Advising and Resources Office at UCSC. Is familiar with and advises the club on OPERS and SOAR policy. Fundraising Chair幝统esponsible for organizing fundraising projects, presentations to CORE Council, Colleges, Alumni, and community members. Keeps track of member幝迷 fundraising service hours, and assigns individuals to fundraising tasks.
